Stage 2 - Removing the old wind turbine

Most wind turbine construction projects start by building foundations. Ours was a little different in that we had bought a site with an existing (non functioning) wind turbine and we were reusing the foundations. The first task was therefore to remove the old wind turbine.

If you're interested in the foundation laying element of wind turbine installation, there is a photo diary of the foundations being dug for our other community turbine, the V17 here.
